Arnold hails from the province of Oriental Mindoro. He attended college at the Philippine Maritime Institute, majoring in Customs Administration. Starting his own business was always a dream of his. This dream was realised in the AMS Group of Companies; a closely held conglomerate of companies and ventures with various industries with operations in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, logistics & trucking, general trading, power generation, mining, manufacturing, manpower consulting, investments, education, and philanthropy.
His peers refer to him as a brilliant and highly educated leader, able to adapt and innovate throughout various industries. He is a passionate visionary known for his strategy and a committed, God-fearing servant of the Lord.
Arnold believes that technology and innovation is the main driving force of progress; in order to build an inclusive and equitable future, one must invest in the ingenuity and creativity of the Filipino people. This means uniting global best practices with local values and strategies. Overall, Arnold places his country and people first in his heart and mind, with the goal of leading the Philippines into the digital age.
